That feeling of playing a movie returns once again with Uncharted 3. Naughty Dog has done a great job combining a cinematic experience with gameplay once again. If you are a traditional Uncharted player then a few things may catch your eye, but you can pretty much expect an Uncharted 2 experience with a few major surprises. If this is your first time playing an Uncharted game then you will undoubtedly fall in love with this game. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is a third-person action adventure game. Nolan North, Richard McGonagle, Emily Rose, and so many others do a great job at bringing traditional and new characters to life. The dialogue in Uncharted 3 is also a major factor that makes this game special. Epic music combined with a ton of action sequences will provide hardcore fans with an adrenaline rush. The soundtrack in Uncharted 3 once again adds life to the world around Nathan Drake. There are a few occasions where you confront the troublesome duo which can lead to some intense situations, but other than that you are pretty much fighting Marlowe’s goons, pirates, or solving a ton of puzzles. I guess I’m used to a more aggressive pair of thieves, but I believe if we had a female version of Lazarevic, this game would have turned out a bit differently. Don’t get me wrong it’s great to have old Katherine Marlowe as the lead villain, but it feels like her and her sidekick Talbot weren’t as vicious compared to previous villains. While our traditional heroes play their natural roles once again, the villains in the game are less intriguing this time around. Uncharted 3 also has a unique set of characters. Everything from flower petals floating through the air to violent sandstorms look absolutely vivid in 3D. If you are fortunate enough to own a 3D television I highly suggest you play Uncharted 3 in 3D. These gorgeous sceneries can also be enhanced with the stereoscopic 3D feature. There are several points in the game that look just amazing and it never hurts to stop what you are doing and gaze at the world around you. Naughty Dog works wonders again by providing gamers with beautiful landscapes. Nathan Drake is on another adventure searching for the Atlantis of the Sands.
